The Southern Right Whale is one of the largest animals on Earth, growing as long as a bus and returning to the South African coast each winter, where these gentle giants can often be seen close to shore. Mothers nurture their calves for up to a year, making Cape Town and Hermanus some of the world's best places to witness these magnificent whales in their natural habitat.

Here, Head On Design has collaborated with Cape Town artist Sharon Boonzaier, whose African Delft print reimagines the traditional blue-and-white Delft pottery style with African wildlife and native flora. The result is a contemporary interpretation of a 400-year-old European art form, celebrating both its rich heritage and the beauty of Africa.
